“Pack The Pantry” Food Drive Success

Food Drive

In November, Forney ISD held a food drive to benefit the Forney Food Pantry where participating school districts and local businesses worked tirelessly to collect a record-breaking amount of donations.

Through the joint efforts of the Forney school districts and local businesses, we were able to collect over 40,000 donations covering food items, toiletries, and other household products.

In the business category, a total of 1,176 donations were collected along with $750 in cash donations. We are so happy to say that we collected the most individual business donations totaling 271 donations and cannot wait to surpass this next year.

We are so honored that we got to participate alongside all these amazing companies to come together for a good cause and want to thank everyone who was able to give as well.
